Lance Temple

Marital status: Married
Children: 3
Occupation: Accountant
Comment: Married my second wife Peggy almost 3 years ago.  My first wife, Janice, died in 2001.  I have 2 children with Janice and now one step daughter with Peggy.  I have 2 grandchildren by my daughter Erin and one by my step daughter Chadelle.  My son Morgan is 22 and single.
Teacher who influenced me the most . . . : Mr. Ripplinger got me interested in choir music and for a few years I sang in the Mormon Youth Choir. I've always enjoyed music and it has been a gret help to me in times of sorrow. It has been a great part of life.
Occupations you have had: I have been doing budgeting and accounting work for 2 departments of Salt Lake County Government. I was with the Health Dept. for 18 years and have been with the Library Sytem for 12 years.
Catch us up on your life . . . : Janice and I were married for 25 years and lived most of our married life in Sandy (several houses). She taught Junior High at West Jordan Middle School and I worked for Salt Lake County. When she died in 2001 our family went through some rough times, mentally, financially and socially. We are all doing better now and my second wife Peggy is great. She keeps me young since she is 17 years younger than me.
Things I have learned since 1968 . . .: Never give up. Seek out good friends. Take it easy. Have fun with your family and friends. Help others when needed.

Occupation: Clinical Social Worker

Marcia Timmerman (Marcia Timmerman)

Marital status: Single again
Children: 3
Occupation: Administrative Assistant
Teacher who influenced me the most . . . : Mr. Powell; Miss Bates
Occupations you have had: Mostly secretarial-type positions, but have also assisted with plastic surgery, driven a beverage cart at Bonneville, modeled muumuus in Waikiki, planned events for the U of U and worked in retail.
Catch us up on your life . . . : After high school, I attended the U of U as an art major intending to have a career in interior design. Instead, I married after two years, and became a mom soon after that. I have three great kids and five wonderful grand-darlings. My firstborn arrived while we were living outside of Washington, D.C. We moved back to SLC in 1975, and have been here ever since, although I've lived as far west as Tooele, and am now living in Farmington. After divorcing, I returned to school at the U - completing a Bachelor's degree in drawing and painting, which is helpful when decorating the homes of friends and relatives brave enough to trust me with a paint brush. While completing my degree, I worked for the Theatre Department and after graduation moved to the Alumni Association. I've now been at KUED-TV for nearly 12 years -- at the U for over 20.
Things I have learned since 1968 . . .: The purpose of life is to learn.

Hi there everyone...I have been married to my hubby Ed since 1970 of March 31st. We have lived in Utah ever since we have been married. We had 3 children and now have 3 grandchildren. Two of them live with their mom, and me, Ed, and his brother in West Valley, Utah. My hubby retired from the Unified Fire Dept. a year ago in March, and we mostly help with the grandkids while our daughter was working. She lost her job and is looking for work again.

And do housework. Looking forward to my garden my hubby and grandkids, and I will be taking care of. Plus swimmming in our above ground pool, and our hot tub. We also have a Trampoline for the kids to exercise on, lol.  We also have 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, and 4 birds, but we will be keeping the 2 cats and proaby sell the rest...to much work for me!!!
I graduated from High School in Japan because in 1968 my parents had recieved an assignment to work in Japan. So, I had to leave...I was sad to leave my friends, but I knew in my heart that I had friends I would someday like to see again from Skyline!! So, look forward to seeing you all again. Hopefully my best friends will come! Love, Velma
