Legal assistant Married Virginia Silcox (English), Lois Berenson (office procedures, etc.), Ted Wilson and Lester Catmull (history, social studies). Actually, most of my teachers were great! Admin. assistant at State Division of Mental Health; Realtor; Exec. assistant at Geneva Steel and Morris Air; Legal assistant at Parr Waddoups Brown Gee & Loveless In high school when I was planning my future as an adult, I wanted to be a veterinarian, a phys ed teacher, or a legal secretary. Forty years later, I can say that I've kinda touched on all three. My home life has always included hairy 4-legged children (currently, two Golden Retrievers), I've played on County co-ed volleyball and softball teams, and I plan to retire in 3-1/2 years from the law firm where I've worked for 27 years. Life is good! My husband, Barry Bateman, grew up in upstate New York, gradually migrated "out west," and lived in Colorado Springs when we met. He sold his business in May and is now balancing his retirement time between a consulting contract, the occasional "honey do," and his love of hiking, tennis, fly fishing, camping, and cooking. As we approach The Golden Years, we are both trying to follow the adage that it is better to wear out than to rust out. See you soon! "You can't turn back the clock, but you CAN wind it up again." Marriage, Family and Child Therpist Married 4
I couldn't get enough of school, so I went on to get masters degrees in american literature, social work and marriage and family therapy. I married a gentle soft spoken artist who left his beloved south to set up home with me in the mountains that I love here in utah. We have 4 children. 1 daughter, Sarah, who is married and has given us four grandchildren whom we adore; actually we are simply besotted. We have 3 sons, Andrew 16, Jonathan 13 and Joseph 11. We all survived my stage 3 breast cancer with the wonders of surgery, chemo, radiation and prayer. Between my part time private practice, soccer games, violin concerts, gardening and taking apart pop up books to understand the engineering to make my own, I know how blessed I am to have come to this place in my life 40 years from Skyline graduation. Here I am with my 16 year old son who will graduate next year and then be counting to his reunions. Send valerie a MessageSend valerie a Message

Asst. Produce Manager (Reams) Divorced Mrs. Jacobs, Mrs. Cutler, Mr. Melendez, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Walker Worked for Qwest and AT&T in service selection, collections, repair, call placement etc. Sold aluminum siding and guttering. Worked for various grocery chains, with various duties. Spent 6 years as member of the Utah National Guard. I'm single with a dog (Tundra) whom I adopted from the Humane Society. I have a home in the Cottonwood Heights area but I'm hardly ever there. I spend most days working at Reams and scorekeeping softball games (April through October) Season ticket holder to University of Utah Football, basketball and gymnastics. Spend lots of time with my parents (Dad's 98 - Mom's 90 - both still at home) You make the most of it, no matter what your situation and standing in life is. No, it's not always fair but when I put my mind to it nothing is impossible. I got more from giving and sacrifice than taking and complaining.
Most vivid memory of high school: State football championship, buckets in the hallway, and I still remember Patti Hambleton's smile.  (I was quite shy.)

Business Analyst Married 4
Hello everyone.  I expected to see a question about the number of grandchildren which my wife and I have 10.  My wife and I (empty-nesters) still live in Murray where we've lived for the past 30 years.  We love Murray (now known as the the home of David Archuleta!).

I just started a new job three weeks ago (as of 5/1/2008) as a Business Analyst working for LANDesk in South Jordan, after spending over 15 years working as a Software Engineer for Novell in Provo. (Glad I'm not making that commute anymore.)

Looking forward to seeing many of my "old" friends at the reunion.

This is a recent photo of my posterity (so far).

Reliability Engineer Married 1 Reliability Engineer Like many others I spent most of my time at Skyline laying low & going from one class to the next. Outside of school in those years I spent most of my time working up Mill Creek Canyon at Log Haven. After graduating I spent 4 years at Utah State University getting a BS degree, after just working at Log Haven, I spent a couple more years getting a second BS degree. Then it was off to St Louis, Mo for a couple years with McDonald-Douglas and back to Salt Lake City for several years at Litton. About 20 years ago, I got married to April Blair (Skyline Class of 1977) and we decided to move to Arizona to work for Motorola. That became working for General Dynamics when they bought this division of Motorola. It looks like I’ll stay in Scottsdale, AZ.
